Our Club promotes the natural qualities of all purebred dachshunds.

Our Club supports one standard of the breed as adopted by the membership and approved by the Canadian Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which Dachshunds shall be judged.

Our Club promotes canine health and wellbeing, ethical breeding practices and good sportsmanship in all competitions, and protects and advances the interest of the breed.

Our Club promotes maintaining the dachshund as one breed with six varieties ( three coats and two sizes, Standard and Miniature). Our club supports all Dachshund enthusiast, breeders and owner/handlers through education, mentorship and respect.
